Though drawing from ancient texts, Campbell believes the message is still relevant and necessary for today’s audience as well. “It’s that kind of faith-energy that we need, especially in this day in time when there’s so much depressing, bad news about what happens in the world. That’s enough to bring down our psyche, reduce our optimism, reduce the potential perspective on what my life can be because of all the bad news.” Campbell hopes “it’s enough to make people think about their own faith journey in a different way.”
